Question/Problem Description
Parameterized insert fails using Oracle ODBC driver with the below error message for a VARCHAR2(4000) field.
Steps to ReproduceCREATE TABLE large_column_table ( large_column VARCHAR2(4000) NULL )

ColumnSize was specified as 4001 in SQLBindParameter which is greater than the max allowed for the column.
Resolution
Update the application to bind the column with the correct ColumnSize as below
