Question/Problem Description
The below error is received when trying to compile an application that calls ConfigDSN/SQLConfigDataSource. The application is using the driver manager with a third party driver.

Cause
ConfigDSN/SQLConfigDataSource is not a driver manager function.
Resolution
ConfigDSN/SQLConfigDataSource can be called in the driver DLL or a separate setup DLL: because the driver in this case is a third party driver, the vendor of the driver needs to be contacted.
