Cause
The matrices available on the website reflect the latest version of the drivers. Not all drivers are at the same revision level.  So the latest version for one driver may be 7.1 while for another it may be 8.0.
Resolution
When reviewing the support matrices, note the the version of the driver listed is the latest version for that particular driver.
