Version: 7.1
OS: all supported UNIX/LINUX platforms
Database: all supported applications
Application: all supported applications
Question/Problem Description
The below error occurs when trying to check the version of the ODBC driver file with the testlib tool, for example:

./ddtestlib ivsrfc32.so

The same type of error can occur when using the 32-bit testlib tool on a 64-bit driver:

./ivtestlib ddsrfc32.so
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
The driver file is 32-bit (prefix is iv-), while the ddtestlib tool is 64-bit (prefix is dd-).

Or, my be the reverse:

The driver file is 64-bit (prefix is dd-), while the ivtestlib tool is 32-bit (prefix is iv-).

ivtestlib: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
Defect Number
Enhancement Number
Cause
This problem may occur by using the wrong testlib tool for the installed drivers.  Be sure that that installed libraries are actually 32-bit or 64-bit; depending on your intent.

You can use the "file" command to determine whether a library is 32-bit or 64-bit.
See article:  How to determine if 32-bit or 64-bit DataDirect ODBC drivers are installed?
Resolution
Ensure that the correct testlib tools is being used.  "ivtestlib" for 32-bit drivers and "ddtestlib" for 64-bit drivers.
